I can only replace PIP without resizing it. When multiple camera is automatically detected, i see a unique disposition : PIP (Picture in Picture).

How Virb Edit detect tmultiple camera ? File name ? G-Metrix file ?ĭoes it exist a function in the menu to enforce the multiple camera ? (don't find it) Why Virb Edit sometime don't detect multile camera ? Once this has been enabled, the option to toggle between clips can be found by clicking on the Editing tab on the left-hand side.""

If there are multiple clips recorded at the same time, when adding the clips you will be prompted to enable multi-cam editing. ""The multi-camera feature in VIRB Edit allows for easily alternating between clips recorded by two VIRB cameras at the same time. When Virb Edit detecte two video file at the same time, i really have this situation (extract of Virb Edit support) : When i want to create video file, sometime virb Edit detect automatically two videos in the same time, sometime not. So for a 60 mn flight, i get two set of 3 video files. One is master, second is slave, so camera are started (and stoped) both at the same time (using vivosmart remote controle function). Seems like a good editing program for the intermediate video editor/prosumer if you don't feel like paying a subscription to Premiere and don't need super granular features.I have two virb Ultra 30 (one for rear view, one for front view). I've paid more for video editing programs before that were worse, and since this was only $1, I can't really complain. These have gone away, however, when I just restart the program. The only issues I have so far are: performance is a bit clunky sometimes (doesn't always feel smooth I'm on a desktop with a Ryzen 2600x and RX 570), sometimes the text tool has issues where changes don't take effect after you adjust them, and for some reason playback sometimes doesn't respond. I really like the UI and layout of everything it's simple and boiled down but there's definitely a lot of potential to creatively use the tools in an in-depth way. I'm a couple of hours into using Pinnacle, and so far, it's not too shabby at all. I have read the above but just thought I'd add another option here that is currently $1 on Humble Bundle: Pinnacle Ultimate Studio

It's the editor I find myself reverting to after wandering off to try a new free editor.)

Genuinely surprised Shotcut is not featured on the software editor page/s. I mention this because a lot of the narrative I've found on the subject relates to the latter and using the editor's built-in tools (e.g.

It's probably worth noting that my footage is an accumulation of family videos taken over a number of years vs, for example, a series of "shoots" for a specific "project". I have tried using Adobe Bridge but it creates caches etc of enourmous proportions and seems to have overkilled the solution (non tech point of view). I'd envisage using this pre-edit to pull out themes and subjects within the clips. I'm after software to help manage my raw footage in particular being able to organise and tag in much the same way as photo cataloguing software allows. I've checked out the recommended pages on software but have not been able to find what I'm looking for (maybe because it does not exist).
